Local Elections - Buckinghamshire Council

🗳️ Vote Liberal Democrat on Thursday May 1st 2025 🗳️

Buckinghamshire deserves far better than the neglect and complacency we’ve seen under decades of Conservative control.

For too long, this Conservative-led council has taken residents for granted. Our roads are crumbling, affordable housing is in short supply, children's services are failing, and environmental concerns are ignored. While they sit back, our villages and towns face increasing pressures with little to no support.

It’s time for a fairer deal. The Liberal Democrats have a strong record of listening, taking action, and delivering results. We will fight for well-maintained roads, improved public services, and sustainable development that works our communities, not against them.

The only way to end Conservative mismanagement is to vote Liberal Democrat. Every vote counts—together, we can bring real change to Buckinghamshire on May 1st 2025.

Lib Dems Winning Barchart

Our Priorities for Buckinghamshire Council

  • While people worrying about the cost of living the Conservatives have put up your Council Tax. But the roads are still full of potholes and important services have been slashed. Liberal Democrats would cut waste and get better value for your money.

  • Many local residents still struggle to get appointments with their GP or NHS dentist when they need them. Liberal Democrats would ensure better investment in health and social care goes hand in hand with any new development.

  • The Conservatives have shown again and again that they don't really care about the environment. The Conservative council’s failure to deliver a local plan has left our countryside open to a developer free-for-all. The Liberal Democrats would prioritise a new local plan ensuring communities have a say. The Liberal Democrats would also prioritise the protection and restoration of our natural spaces and introduce measures to enable meaningful climate action.
