Ben Harris - Quainton Liberal Democrats

Ben Harris

Ben grew up in South Wales before moving to London to start his career in children’s palliative care policy and public affairs. But after a while, he found himself missing the countryside and decided to move to Quainton. He spent much of his childhood and teenage years helping out on his grandparents' farm, so he knows firsthand the pressures of rural life. Ben’s passion for local politics began at 18 when he won a seat on the community council in his hometown, setting him on a path of community service that continues today.

Now a Parish Councillor in Quainton, Ben has been actively involved in local issues, with one of his main focuses being the push for a crossing by Quainton School to improve safety for children and families. He lives in Quainton with his partner Flora and their two cats, Nancy and Prim. Ben remains committed to making a difference in his community, with a genuine desire to bring about positive change for those around him.

Send Ben an email.

My Priorities for Quainton

The May 1st elections in Buckinghamshire will be a clear choice between a fresh start with the Lib Dems or more of the same with the Conservatives.

  • Stop invasive developments damaging our countryside
  • Implement traffic calming measure in our villages
  • Champion investment into public transport
  • Take on the blight of rural crime
  • End fly tipping in our communities
