Mark Pack made his first in-person speech to any audience this year at the second Buckingham Lib Dems' Hot Potato social event last Friday in Maids Moreton Village Hall.

It was followed by a Q & A session covering a wide range of topics, including the Ox-Cam Arc, social care, climate change, food banks, poverty and the prospects for the party at both national and local levels.

To close the evening, Mark made the presentation of a card and gift to our departing data officer Matthew Hudson, who has accepted a new job as campaign coordinator for the Lib Dems in Cheadle, near Manchester.

Thanks to everybody who came and supported this social event. We have a Beer Tasting planned on October, 15.
Our next Hot Potato event will be on November 12, with former Milton Keynes parliamentary candidate David Yeoward.
